Coastal Drone Concepts

With a foundation in GIS for environmental analysis, I currently work as a GIS Specialist for a civil engineering firm, where I focus on building creative geospatial solutions pertaining to coastal engineering efforts such as sea level rise mapping and flood modeling. My work has introduced me to the world of UAS (Drones) for geospatial problem solving, which has inspired me to explore the potential for UAS-gathered data for coastal and environmental analysis purposes.

I currently hold a Master's Degree in Civil Engineering, with a focus in GIS and Geomatics from University of Colorado Denver, as well as a Bachelor's Degree in Geography and Meteorology from Virginia Tech, with a focus in Geospatial and Environmental Analysis.

I have obtained my FAA Part 107 Drone Pilot Certification and am cleared legally to fly for commercial purposes. 

Based out of Charleston, South Carolina I'm no stranger to the area's beaches as an avid surfer and outdoor enthusiast.
